Never has there been a better time to try your hand at driving a Ferrari around a track. With prices low after Christmas, and with the latest supercars allowing you greater control over where the car goes whilst making sure you stay safe, it’s now a great time to take to the track.
Some experience providers have multiple models of Ferrari cars for you to choose to drive in – from the classic Ferrari 360, which in itself is a powerful beast, to the more modern Ferrari California. Of course, you’ll find all of the staple models in-between too, ranging from the 360 Challenge Stradale (a souped up version of the 360), the F430 (our favourite!), and the luxury grand tourer, the 599GTB. All you need to do is to decide which one you should be driving (or buying as a gift!)
Once you’ve chosen a car, you’ll need to chose a venue! Some venues don’t have all of the cars, so your car choice may limit this. Generally, the older and more popular a car is, the more widely used it is. Cars such as the 360 and the F430 are available at most of the experience providers, especially the bigger names. You could decide that you want to take the car on a track such as the Prestwold Hall circuit in Leicestershire, or that you want to emulate the greats at hit Silverstone with your foot to the floor!
